File Editing
To edit files using the online editor, use the following steps.
- From the |RCE| interface, select :menuselection:`Admin --> Repositories`
- Select the |repo| in which you want to edit a file.
- Select the :guilabel:`file` view of the |repo|, and double-click on the file.
- To open the editor, select the :guilabel:`edit on branch:default` button.
- If the filename has an extension |RCE| recognises, the syntax highlighting will appear automatically.
- If the filename does not have an extension |RCE| recognises, you can set the language syntax highlighter by choosing from the file type drop down menu.
- To save your changes, select :guilabel:`Commit changes`
