Put auto_rewrite functionality into a method so subclasses can do the
right thing.
The zmqshell now sends the transformed inputs as a payload.
Currently our client doesn't handle this payload, but at least we
don't get the visual noise of the '> new' prompts on the screen.
We still need to implement the payload handler.
