# HG changeset patch # User Matt Harbison # Date 2017-07-07 05:05:20 # Node ID 72f051f9a7d83daa2a77d571118ab563f7881fce # Parent 20f533a92eda8f0d6c636535912f52dda9e4df32 tests: quote $PYTHON for Windows When unquoted, MSYS sees the colon between the drive letter and path as a Unix path separator and unhelpfully splits on it, feeding only the drive letter as the command. Much chaos ensues. I vaguely remember trying to get the test runner to use /letter/path/to/exe syntax the last time this happened, without success. I doubt a check-code rule would work, since sometimes it is quoted, and sometimes the quotes are escaped. diff --git a/tests/test-bundle2-exchange.t b/tests/test-bundle2-exchange.t --- a/tests/test-bundle2-exchange.t +++ b/tests/test-bundle2-exchange.t @@ -18,7 +18,7 @@ enable obsolescence > evolution=createmarkers,exchange > bundle2-output-capture=True > [ui] - > ssh=$PYTHON "$TESTDIR/dummyssh" + > ssh="$PYTHON" "$TESTDIR/dummyssh" > logtemplate={rev}:{node|short} {phase} {author} {bookmarks} {desc|firstline} > [web] > push_ssl = false @@ -909,7 +909,7 @@ Test lazily acquiring the lock during un $ cp $TESTTMP/hgrc.orig $HGRCPATH $ cat >> $HGRCPATH < [ui] - > ssh=$PYTHON "$TESTDIR/dummyssh" + > ssh="$PYTHON" "$TESTDIR/dummyssh" > EOF $ cat >> $TESTTMP/locktester.py <> $DAEMON_PIDS $ hg clone http://localhost:$HGPORT running-404 applying clone bundle from http://localhost:$HGPORT1/bundle.hg @@ -197,7 +197,7 @@ by old clients.
