dispatch: disable demandimport for the --debugger option Something in Python 2.7.9 or so broke the --debugger option with ui.debugger = ipdb. I get the traceback below. There is some apparent confusion with demandimport. This should be disabled anyway for the --debugger option. The debugger must be imported right away, before any other dispatch. There's no benefit in delaying the debugger import. This patch uses the demandimport.deactivated() context manager. Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install:

$ make # see install targets
$ make install # do a system-wide install
$ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
$ hg # see help

Running without installing:

$ make local # build for inplace usage
$ ./hg --version # should show the latest version

See http://mercurial.selenic.com/ for detailed installation
instructions, platform-specific notes, and Mercurial user information.
